Exhibition dedicated to design and the notion of progress. Progress has been present for a long time in the industrial creation of products that answerer real needs of the improvement of everyday life. The designer occupied an important place in the creation of these objects and has often been associated to progress ideology. It seems appropriate today to invite the designers to reconsider this notion of progress. This brings us to the designer¿s responsibility in his relation with industry, especially and more generally with the public. The exhibition¿s purpose is to initiate a research with designers to represent a set of critical elements related to design and to its mode of action.
