This exhibition is about Napoleon, the man who presented himself as the last heir of the French revolution and as the founder of a new and universal European order under the supremacy of France. The exhibition also looks at the way in which his contemporaries saw him during his rise and later his fall. Discover numerous caricatures, and examples of the personality cult he instigated himself during his reign: traditional portraits, paintings of battles and other objects related to the Emperor.
