The Festival of Wallonia has become one the major events in the Walloon musical life. Six festivals invite you to discover the architectural and musical heritage of their region and to share their strong inclination towards parties and conviviality. Every year, there will be a common theme in the programming of all the festivals and a renowned Belgian cultural personality is chosen as sponsor for the entire season.

This year's theme will be "Songs of the Earth". The festival is about nature, about this inspiring goddess, who has charmed and remains to charm many composers and therefore us as well. Benoît Mernier and Alain Hubert will be the guests of honour for this 37th edition.

Comment:

The avant-première will take place on 1 June in Brussels (Flagey). Each of the festivals will then take place in different cities of Wallonia.
