From the origins of man to urban biodiversity and from Europe's largest dinosaur gallery to the evolution gallery, there's a host of discoveries for lovers... of nature.
The little boy inside him still loves dinosaurs.
She has transformed their balcony into an insect's paradise.
Both are curious by nature, but about nature in particular... they set off for the Royal Institute of Natural Sciences to discover:
- The largest dinosaur gallery in Europe: T.rex, Triceratops, Diplodocus, Stegosaurus, Maiasaura, Cryolophosaurus… and, of course, some thirty original Iguanodon fossils found here in Belgium, a great source of national pride.
- The new Gallery of Humankind: from Sahelanthropus to Homo Sapiens, from the embryo to adulthood, explore the evolution of man and his body.
- The Mosasaur Hall, the Gallery of Evolution, BiodiverCITY, the 250 years of Natural Science room...
The Coffee Workshop they took part in enabled them to discover the museum in an active and relaxed way around a nice cup of coffee.
They leave the museum knowing a lot more about the origins of man, debating how best to diversify the biodiversity in their own personal little green square and wondering just where their dinosaur figurines have gotten to...
