VALLEYS, MUSEUMS AND ... SPRINGS
In a green refuge of woods, orchards and pastures, at the bottom of a valley fed by the clear water of the Bola, you can find SOIRON, land of rowan trees. Situated in a rich valley between two ridges, DEIGNÉ is set around its church and its main square, flanked by its fountain and follows the typical Condrozian
relief. FERRIÈRES is a green and calm village which enjoys a rich architectural heritage of manorial farms and dwellings. At the junction of the Ourthe and Amblève rivers, COMBLAIN-AU-PONT takes its name from the latin "confluentes" (junction). The hamlet of FORÊT is perched on a bare 'mountain' near Trooz. The pretty, twisty road which leads there reminds you that you are in the hill country.

Worth a visit: St Roch church, tower and enclosing wall of the cemetery, the old presbytery, Soiron castle, Sclassin castle, crosses, shrines, a wash-house; a public brewery, a mash-tub in a manorial farm, the
thistle drying place, the Bois du Moraithier. The Tourist Hall, the sheep pen, Haute Folie farm, the sink holes, the numerous crosses. "Tartines" Nature Reserve, "Roches Noires" Nature Park.
