Perched on the heights, THONSAMSON sits in a green decor of the fields and copses of the Samson valley. The heart of the village built of limestone has kept its old-time charm. Dominating the valley, the church and the chateau-farm seem to protect the village. MOZET is situated on the southern slope of this pretty valley, in a landscape of meadows and woods. Walking along the rue du Tronquoy you will reach the upper part of the village which is dominated by the 17th Century Mozet Castle. CRUPET has maintained, apart from its notable 12th century donjon, many 17th and 18th century houses and small farmhouses in sandstone and limestone plus remains of the industrial activity which flourished in the 19th century.
