The Château de Namur is one of the major partner hotels of the Folon 2008 project.
It offers an attractive package in discovery of the artist. Ideally located in the centre of the major Folon 2008 activities, this hotel is also the perfect starting point for the discovery of Wallonia.

Situated at the top of the Citadel where you have a magnificent view of the charming city of Namur, this splendid accommodation is surrounded by a wonderful theme garden in the woods of a 1 ha park. It is also the showcase of the provincial hotel-restaurant school of Namur. Recently renovated, the hotel has 29 rooms with the comfort and amenities of a 4-star hotel, combined with the delicious cuisine of chef Jean-Marc Préaux.

FOLON FOUNDATION (LA HULPE) © OPT / J.L. Flemal Created and thought out by Jean-Michel Folon in the Ferme du Château de la Hulpe, the Folon Foundation presents more than forty years of creation, in a lively and original scenery. The artist opens his life's book here… Throughout the pages, the visitor discovers the multiple aspects of his art and his universe among the 300 exhibited works: aquarelles, screen prints, etchings, posters, objects, church-windows, sculptures… Music, films, optical effects animate an interactive trail, open to a large public. A space for temporary exhibitions will unveil other aspects of Jean-Michel Folon's works, as well as the creations of modern or contemporary artists.
