The Glass Museum, five thousand years of glass art, history and techniques welcome you to the Bois du Cazier in Marcinelle.
The Glass Museum's collections constitute an unusual journey through a backward timeline, from the present day to the origins of glass.
At the Glass Museum workshop
You can also witness a glass-making demonstration.
Useful information to prepare your visit
Opening times
From Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
Weekends and public holidays from 10am to 6pm.
Prices
Adults: €6 for individuals and €5 for adults in groups.
Children under 18 and students: €4.50 for individuals and €3.50 for members of groups.
Free for children under 6.
Visite & Vous package (Visit & You)
Entry + guided tour on 1st weekend of the month and the 3rd Wednesday of the month: €6 per person.

Guided tours, booking required
Tours in French, Dutch, English and Italian.
The site is accessible to people with reduced mobility, except for the slag heaps.
