Established in a rural setting, Aubechies is a village representative of the type of architecture practised in Hainaut in the last century. It is the realm of tiles and red brick, now and then punctuated with gables of rubbled sandstone. The Archaeosite of Aubechies faithfully reproduces the dwellings established there from the Neolithic era until gallo-roman times. Also admire the beautiful Roman church from the 11th century.
