The Belœil castle, owned by the Princes of Ligne since the 14th century, houses a rich collection of art objects from the 15th to the 19th century and its famous library with 20000 books.
The French-style garden, a harmonious mixture of water features and greenery and shadow and light, stretches out over 25ha. A miniature train takes visitors on a tour of the grounds.
The Belœil estate hosts two prestigious events during the year:
- The Amaryllis competition, organised end of April-beginning of May.
- The Musicales de Belœil classical music festival.

The last visit of the day starts at 5:15pm.
The miniature train tours only take place on weekends.
Duration of the train tour: 20 minutes.
Group visits
Minimum 20 people. Bookings need to be made at least 15 days prior to the visit. Visits take place every day from 01/04 to 30/11 - 10am to 6pm).
Guided visits are available in French, Dutch, English, Italian and last 1 hour.
