The enormous, 100-metre high ruins of the Renaissance style castle of Boussu, which was built by Jacques Du Broeucq, are classified as an Exceptional Heritage Site. Situated in a 12-hectare park, visitors can visit both the ruins and an archaeological dig on the site. The funerary chapel features the Renaissance mausoleums of the Hennin-Liétard family, some beautiful tombstones and a religious art museum.

Guided visit of the Castle of Boussu and the Chapel possible all year round (€ 4,-/pers.).
Guided tours for groups only - duration: 2h30 to 3h for the 2 sites - languages: FR, NL.
Chapel open on Sunday from 10 am to 12 pm, from May to September.
