ALBERTINE
This complex, built between 1954 and 1965 on the site of the former Mont des Arts, includes the Palais des Congrès, the Palais de la Dynastie, the Royal Library and the King Albert Monument. Under the arcade, there is a carillon clock representing key figures from Belgian history. The clock has twenty-four bells, which play alternatively the tune of Grétry "Où peut-on être mieux ?" and the "Beiaardlied" of P. Benoît.
