For over 150 years the wheel of the mill of Gentinnes is powered by the water of the Houssière river. Ever since it was built in 1852, this mill has been producing flour… This mill is without any doubt one of the oldest water mills in Belgium.
It is located alongside the Houssière river, one of the main waterways in Chastre.
It is one of the three watermills of the municipality, but the only one that still functions by sheer water power.

Visits ONLY (French) by appointment, for groups of minimum 10 and maximum 25 persons.
Duration: in between 45 min. and 1h.
