The mill of the "Marquise" was probably constructed in 1747 and put into operation by the Lord of Moulbaix in 1752. This remarkable mill, next to a picturesque road, is up to this day still grinding grain. The mill was put back into operation by miller Jozef Dhaenens in 1942 and is equipped with an additional electrical power source. In 1960, the axle was replaced by an element from the Mill of Rollegem-Kapelle. This mill was declared monument in July 1944.
