At the end of the 10th century, the Abbey of Salzinnes had a mill on the current park site. In the early 20th century, a sparkling spring water was produced and sold there. In 1996, the Park of the springs was opened to the public by the Delforge family. Damaged by its excess water, it has been recently renovated in a more natural style: spontaneous development of the local species, choice of materials (stone, wood)… The quality of the water banks is particularly high. The good distribution of the open and closed spaces makes sure your visit is varied. The used surfaces contribute to the quality of the park, especially the wooden duckboards over the marshy areas.
