The museum is located in a mansion in the heart of old Namur, not far from the birthplace of the artist (1833-1898). The main themes of the artist's work are exhibited (women, love, desire and death) tracing his career from his debut as a caricaturist in Brussels to the zenith of his career in Paris. Temporary exhibitions about the 19th century and the art of drawing are organised regularly. The museum also produces numerous publications.

Mondays closed except in July and August.
Museum closed on 25 December and 1 January.
Guided visits on request, two weeks in advance, for groups of min. 15 people.
Activities for children and school groups on request.
