With a brand-new decor, the Crystal factory and the Castle of Val Saint Lambert propose you to discover the glassworks and the history of crystal and the site. By means of historical and contemporary aids (maps, engravings, scale-models, photo's, sound clips, traditional and exceptional pieces), films and 'live' demonstrations, the visitor is immersed in the magical universe of crystal. A metamorphosis of the site combining entertainment, history and technique.

Comment:

Until 8 May 2008: only visit to the glassworks.
Visits to the factory at 10.30 am and 2.30 pm from Monday to Thursday and at 10.30 am on Friday. It is possible to plan your visits with a guide: extra fee (+/- 25 persons per group).
The second weekend of the month: hourly visits from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm.
The show-room is open all year round from 9 am to 5 pm, except on 01/01 and 25/12.
Groups: (only by reservation).

Access: by car, motorway E42, exit 2 Seraing, then N604 and N90. Follow the signs "Val Saint Lambert". Public transport: by train: train station Liège Guillemins or Liège Palais and TEC bus 9.

TEMPORARILY CLOSED - REOPENING PLANNED FOR EARLY 2008
Despite the fire that has hit the Castle of Val Saint-Lambert on 14 March, the tourist activities on the site are not interrupted.
In order to respond to the numerous demands, the visits will temporarily take place in the glass-works, right in front of the castle.
