Ancient tramway depot (19th c.).
Since 1982, volunteers have run this living museum which concentrates mainly on the history of public transport in Brussels. The museum houses a collection of more than 60 vehicules dating from 1868 to today. In addition visitors can ride on trams dating from the beginning of the century on the line through the woods to Tervuren and towards the museums in the "Cinquantenaire". Every Sunday at 10 a.m., from April to October, the museum organizes a historical and at the same time unusual tour from Woluwe to "Heysel" and back.

Comment:

The historical trams ride on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 22/03 to the beginning of October 2008. The museum, however, is closed for renovations.
You can board the trams and buy your tickets on the way.

The "Brussels Tourist Tramway" rides on Sunday by reservation, and with visit: on the 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Sunday of the month in French, and on the 2nd Sunday of the month in Dutch.
Rates:
Line Cinquantenaire-Woluwe-Tervuren: Adult: € 5,-. Children from 6 to 11 years: € 2,-.
BTT trail with guide: Adult: € 12,-. Children from 6 to 11 years: € 6,-.
Departure at 10 am, duration of the ride: appr. 3h30.
