The Canals and the River Tourism

With 264 kilometres of navigable leaks, the Province of Hainaut houses the Park of Canals and Castles between La Louvière, Ronquières and Seneffe.
Discover the universe of the river and canal craft in the tower surrounding the inclined plane of Ronquières, live the crossing on hydraulic lifts on the old Canal du Centre and visit the huge boatlift of Strepy Thieux.
The setting also charms walkers and bikers taking the Ravel on towpaths. Sophisticated and prestigious, the Castle of Seneffe, housing the silversmith's collections of the Communauté française and the exceptional property of the Museum of Mariemont deserve both a prolonged visit.
