From the river Meuse to the Rhine, on the GR 57 : The path of the Ourthe has always been a " best seller " among lovers of hikes. This fad can be easily explained: the ascent of a great river, the immediate proximity of a railroad of which the stations cut up the itinerary into carefully well-balanced sections, the succession of many diverse landscapes (Condroz, Famenne, Ardennes) and the walk past many tourist locations make this path really worth your while. Rocky cliffs, sumptuous caves, wild forests, that is on the programme of the "Vallée", or more specifically of the basin of the river Ourthe where some small but beautiful tributaries are visited.
