Description:

The castle of Franchimont which was built in the XIth century on a rocky outcrop dominating the valley of Hoegne, and which was residence of the Prince-bishop of Liège, presents impressive ruins definitely worth a visit. You can see a chapel, a latrines tower, a bread oven and a well of more than 60 meters deep, but the most spectacular is the whole of casemates and subterranean stairs.

  • from Sunday 1 April 2007 to Monday 30 April 2007 (except on: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)

  • from Tuesday 1 May 2007 to Sunday 30 September 2007
    • DAILY : 10:00-18:00
  • from Monday 1 October 2007 to Wednesday 31 October 2007 (except on: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
    • SAT, SUN AND BANK HOLIDAYS : 11:00-17:00
