What's more, the domain has lots of other surprises in store: the wild animal reserve, the only one in Belgium to bring you Europe's "big five" and its new footpath, the interactive PrehistoHan exhibition and the Han Yesteryear museum.

Take the little tram from the centre of the village to the cave entrance.

Guides will lead you through 3 km of magnificent rooms and passages: the "Minaret", the "Trophy", a huge stalagmite 7m high and 20m round, the "Mystery" room and its highly coloured formations, the "Dôme" with a height of 145m.

Halfway through the visit, a sound and light show recreates all the marvels of the "Weapons Room". You'll leave the cave through a huge footbridge over the underground Lesse river.

And for your gourmet break, Le Pavillon, the restaurant-brasserie located at the cave exit, offers a varied menu and showcases local produce. A word for beer lovers: Le Pavillon has a large terrace that borders the river Lesse which is the perfect place to enjoy a Blonde de Han!
