The Industry Museum plunges you into the adventure of the industrial revolution. Visit it at the Bois du Cazier site, south of Charleroi.
This museum offers a route that is split into stages and illustrates Belgium's industrial adventure in the 19th century.
The museum route concentrates on the major industrial industries: the coal industry, the steel industry, glass blowing, metal production, mechanical and electrical construction, chemicals, printing and social life.
Useful information to prepare your visit
Opening timesFrom Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
Weekends and public holidays from 10am to 6pm.
Prices
Adults: €6 for individuals and €5 for adults in groups.
Children under 18 and students: €4.50 for individuals and €3.50 for members of groups.
Free for children under 6.
Visite & Vous package (Visit & You)
Entry + guided tour on 1st weekend of the month and the 3rd Wednesday of the month: €6 per person.

Tours in French, Dutch, English and Italian.
The site is accessible to people with reduced mobility, except for the slag heaps.
