Hop on the tourist train and take a trip around the ramparts of this impressive fortress, where you will discover their admirable architecture and their history that dates back to the Middle Ages.


Point of departure is situated at the Terra Nova tourist information point.

Organising your visit

Opening times
April-September, everyday at 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm, 4.30pm and 5.30pm.

During low season, from October onwards:
Wednedays at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.
Saturdays and Sundays at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.
Open on the Toussaint public holiday (except 31/10)


Group bookings can be made Wednesday-Sunday from 9am-5pm.

Closed from 21/12/14 to 04/01/15.

Duration of the train visit: 25 minutes.
Commentary available in French, English and Dutch.
