During the 15th or 16th centuries, the Château de la Solitude was a quadrilateral building surrounded by moats. It was considerably remodelled during the 18th century and only a few buildings remain of this complex. All that remains of the château depicted on the Ferraris maps is the bridge spanning the moats, the main entrance, an L-shaped main building, a chapel, the former residential building of the original château and a wing of low outbuildings. Currently the castle houses an elementary school.
