In Wallonia you can discover the flavours of Belgian gastronomy through a variety of museums. These places are the guardians of the history of our local produce and regional specialities.

Gastronomy and culture on the menu

Come and find out about sugar in Frasne-les-Anvaing, the potato in Genappe, mustard in Jambes, honey in Lobbe, or the strawberry in Wépion, to name but a few.

Discover and taste

We recommend l'Espace des Saveurs (The House of Taste and Discovery) in Herve, the Spa Monopole visit in the town of Spa, or the Grès de la Roche, which has multimedia displays about Ardennes ham.

Not forgetting the Musée de la Gourmandise (Gourmet Museum) in Hermalle-sous-Huy, the Musée Vivant du Jambon (Living Museum of Ham) in Verlaine or the Musée de la Meunerie et de la Boulangerie (Museum of Milling and Breadmaking) in the Château d'Harzé – all of these will make your mouth water.
