© Musée de la Famenne
Located in a superb 18th century house, the Famenne Museum is a place full of memories, emotions and respect. It broaches themes from the prehistory to modern art! The Merovingian and Carolingian periods are illustrated by means of a remarkable collection found during excavations in Wellin and Hamoir. The Museum pays tribute to the Mâitre de Waha, a famous late gothic sculptor. One space is dedicated to the Famenne and March and tells us about the geological and historical characteristics of the region and about the history of the city. One room is dedicated to the Monument, a 17th century sanctuary. The old professions, as well as modern and contemporary art are described as well.

MAISON DU TOURISME DU PAYS DE LA HAUTE-LESSE (REDU)

From its source in Ochamps up to the confluent with the Meuse in Anseremme, the Less crosses three regions: the Ardenne, the Famenne and the Condroz.
Between Ochamps and Resteigne, the Haute-Lesse offers enclosed, soft but always balanced landscapes.
The forest and its wild nature are omnipresent.
The villages with a traditional architecture fro the 18th and the 19th century have preserved the rural charm of the old Ardenne.
What the big tourist sites concerns, a whole lot of interesting things can be discovered in discrete, simple, real settings.
The Haute-Lesse: a land between Ardenne and Famenne, between shale and limestone, between tradition and modernity, where it's good to live.
