SANCTUARY OF BEAURAING

Beauraing, the winter of 1932-1933. An exceptional event. An exceptional setting. A cold and dark time. The beginning of the tragedy of the second world war. A light appears in the night. From 29 November to 3 January, the Virgin Mary appears 33 times before five children: Fernande, Gilberte and Albert Voisin, Andrée and Gilberte Degeimbre.

The location of the apparitions, Aubépine is accessible day and night. The votive chapel, a place for meditation and prayer in the centre of the Sanctuary is open daily from 9.30 am to 7 pm. The other sanctuaries (the Saint Jean crypt, the Rosaire church, the main church) are accessible by appointment. A guided visit of the sanctuaries is organised on demand. The I point, where the pilgrims are welcomed, is open daily during the high season and on Saturday and Sunday afternoon during the low season. Different films are shown there.
