Historical monument, listed on 14/01/1950. Beautiful castle - fortress from the 11th c, ravaged by fire in 1554 and reconstructed as a residential castle in the late 16th and 17th c. Façade in the style of Louis XIII, the lower part of the elegant entry castle dates from the 13th c. Roman and gothic caves. The visit to the museum "The Life and Work of our Ancestors" is currently not possible due to damages to the beams. In the entirely renovated east wing, there is an exhibition of paintings by Albert Mascaux, Jean Ransy and Roméo Dumoulin, as well as from sculptures from Charles Delporte. Every year organisation of thematic exhibitions from 1 May to 30 September.

Guided tours at 3 pm. Open from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
Guided tours from 1/3 to 30/11, by appointment for groups (minimum 10 persons).
Visit to the vineyard for groups of at least 10 persons by appointment.

The Educational Service of the Castle of Trazegnies organises educational workshops for primary schools. € 3,- per child (free entrance for accompanying adults). Visits by appointment all year round.
