A topiary-lined drive leads up to the gatehouse of the Château du Biez, dating from 1630. Converted into a farm during the 19th century, today it overlooks a camp site whose main attraction are the ornamental lakes (trout fishing and carpodrome).
The most interesting feature of the Château du Biez is, without doubt, the monumental gatehouse which is three bays wide and two storeys high. It is dated 1630 and bears the coat of arms of Guillaume de Melun, who had it built. Baroque in style, the quoins, the jambs of the windows and the central gable feature banded rustication work.
