Walloon culinary tradition or melting pot?
Wallonia is a place where people of many different nationalities have settled or passed through over the years, and they have left their traces on the region.
And our regional cuisine reflects these movements. Traditional Walloon gastronomy has developed over the course of history.
Walloon culinary tradition or melting pot – it doesn’t matter, so long as there’s inventiveness, enthusiasm, an appreciation for authentic produce and an excellent result.
Today’s chefs take the recipes of yesteryear and the numerous cultural influences on our region and translate them into a cuisine that is full of the richness of the Walloon land.
