Don't miss BiodiverCITY, the Museum's gallery dedicated to urban diversity


Terrestrial minerals, mollusks, shellfish, insects ...this is just a sample of what you can admire in the Museum's permanent rooms.
The Dinosaur Gallery, with more than thirty complete skeletons and numerous dinosaur fragments, is the largest dinosaur exhibition of Europe.
The Gallery of Evolution! is unique in Belgium! No fewer than 600 fossils and 400 animal exhibits tell the story of animal biodiversity over the years.


During the Belgian school holidays: weekend hours (closed on Mondays however).
Closed: Mondays, 1 January, 1 May and 25 December; on 24 and 31 December the museum closes at 3 pm.

Access: Train: Bruxelles Luxemburg train station (5 minutes on foot from the museum) - Bus: 34, 80 - stop Idalie. 38, 95 - stop Parnasse (rue du Trône). Museum Bus - Metro: line 1 and 5, Maelbeek (10 minutes from the museum). Line 2 and 6, Trône. (10 minutes from the museum).


Admission free:
- The first Wednesday of the month from 1 pm (no reservation possible).
- Children younger than 6 years (accompanied by parents).
- Teachers (with teacher's card).
- Friends of the museum.
- Persons accompanying a disabled person.
