FRANCOFOLIES

As it does every year, including on this occasion, the famous Ville d'Eau (Water City) will play host to some internationally renowned French-speaking artists, such as Obispo, Chr. Willem, Dutronc and Ghinzu, who’ll be performing on various stages, wowing audiences as ever.

The Spa Francofolies has become an unmissable and, some would say, the number one summer festival!

But there’s more to the Francofolies than that. It also provides:
Fairly priced tickets and massive promotional, financial and artistic support to musicians from the French-speaking community, with the twice-yearly FrancoSessions – advanced performance, singing and coaching workshops offered by seasoned professionals.

The organisers have already announced that Zazie will be playing an exclusive concert on Saturday 23 July!
She’ll be supported by Coco Royal and Raphaël.

Tickets for this show go on sale on Friday 17 December, priced at 45.50 euros.

Don’t forget, “symphonic” Calogero and Suarez are playing on Thursday 21 July 2011.

Extra information:

This festival will be fun, comfortable, socially aware and environmentally friendly, with green electricity; a quality shuttle bus service to encourage the use of public transport; reminders about disposal of cups; special rubbish sorting and recycling areas; a ban on distributing flyers; reusable cups, etc.

Other measures are currently being examined, such as payment of a carbon tax and the use of composting toilets.

Francofolies is more than just a festival. It’s an ambience... a unique atmosphere!
